I received my U.S.C.G license in November of 1988; I then opened my charters business on the Great Lakes. My main focus was Lake Erie were I was fortunate enough to have clients such as local sports stars as well as the then Mayor of Cleveland Michael White. During the 12 years of fishing I have participated in numerous sports and recreation shows for many companies some which include Mepps, Sportscrafts boats and Reef Runner Lures.
 

In 2000 I relocated to Venice, Florida. I then reposition my Charter business and became involved with a group The Island Anglers. A group that are not only involved with educating children about fishing, but also about being responsible stewards of our marine ecosystems. I have been involved with them doing Seminars, Charities events and individual instructions.  I also run Eco Charters with kayaks! it's really awesome. It is the real back to nature charters. You are so close to wildlife, dolphins, Manatees and of course gators it will jump start your heart. 

We also developed what we call the C.A.R.E. Program (Captains Arranging a Relaxing Experience) which evolved from the number of woman and children that enjoy the outdoors. Often to many time intimidation deters people from trying something new!  We have taken that fear out of that equation!! This is why we offer the C.A.R.E Program!! No pressure, No yelling, No rushing, just a teaching, learning and relaxing experience on the water. “We want to create memories not Mayhem”

I sponsor a contest “A Wish To Fish” also promoted by Florida Sportsfishing and Hospitality 1st that enables a parent to win a day on the water fishing with their child.

The Make A Wish Foundation of Sarasota, FL. I’m not only involved in speaking and fundraising events, but I am also a wish granter. That is when a Childs wish is to fish, I’m there to grant it.

Casting For Kids I was involved in the inaugural event in the state of Florida with Art Pasley the National Program Director and have attended all others after. Donating  time and equipment to take children fishing.  These events are covered by Florida Sportfishing, Florida Sportsman, ESPN and local news media.

Growing up on Lake Erie was an awesome time in my life! I spent summers fishing with my dad running charters. Every charter was a learning lesson for me and shaped my future, even though I didn't realize it at the time. After moving to Florida I continued to fish with my dad as his first mate and began to really appreciate what he does.  I began to really learn the business from the bottom up! I knew right then I would never be far from the water. After High School I attended school for marine mechanics and have since received all of my factory certifications from all of the major manufactures. I work as a marine technician at a marina, run charters and schedule all of the business dealing with our Custom Boat Detailing Program. I attend the Cast For Kids events; Make A Wish and Boys and Girls Clubs events.
